This longer piece is designed to induce a very deep state of relaxation. The Core is a much more abstract composition. Over the course of 27 minutes you slowly sink into an ever deepening state of relaxation as your emotions settle and you begin to drift free from your normal waking consciousness. Symbolically, this music represents the beginning of one’s journey within. There’s emotional depth here, but it’s not gushing with it. The music is expressive, it’s heartfelt, but it’s also somewhat restrained. The first track, "Tranquil Chambers" is a placid, melodic composition. Inner Sanctum incorporates both of these approaches. At other times I focus on using psychoacoustic techniques that actively induce a state of deep relaxation.
